In the digital age, access to nearly everything can be found on phones or computers. The Weinstein Gallery is expanding in technological advances by bringing virtual reality to their San Francisco gallery.
With the use of BeamPro robots anyone from around the world can enjoy virtually visiting gallery giving them complete control their own experience. Virtual guests can also enjoy live-curated tours throughout the gallery. Currently on display is an exhibition called “Chance Meeting on Dissection Table,” which was recently extended through June 30, 2016.

The Weinstein Gallery in San Francisco has announced an extension of their new exhibition “Chance Meeting on a Dissecting Table.” It will now run until June 30, 2016. The exhibition features the works of artists that helped spark the Surrealist revolution in the art world. Original pieces by some of the most well known painters are on display including those by: Victor Brauner, Leonora Carrington, Salvador Dali, Oscar Dominguez, Enrico Donati, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Jimmy Ernst, Leonor Fini, David Hare, Marcel Jean, Esteban Frances, Frida Kahlo, Gerome Kamrowski, Andre Masson, Roberto Matta, Gordon Onslow Ford, Wolfgang Paalen, Kay Sage, Kurt Seligmann, Dorthea Tanning, and Yves Tanguy.

Weinstein Gallery’s exhibition of surrealist artist Leonor Fini’s work, Réalisme Irréel, has been extended until Dec. 5. Although it is not Weinstein Gallery’s first Fini exhibit, this new exhibit showcases both the artist’s work and pieces that show what Fini herself was like. Read more about the exhibition here.
